Nearby is the Antique Truck Museum, host of the Annual Trucker Reunion. The North Peace Stampede Grounds racetrack and viewing stands are home of the annual stampede. A few km out of Grimshaw are 4.5 km (2.8 mi) of hiking trails at Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park at Lac Cardinal. Over 160 species of bird can be spotted from the bird viewing platform. Open year round, the Park offers cross country ski trails and a skating rink in wintertime. Next to the Park is Lac Cardinal Regional Pioneer Village Museum with a town of 1920's to 1940's buildings and artifacts on display.
