Juniper Hotel & Bistro

Hotel

The Juniper Hotel & Bistro is located amidst the lush pine forest of Alberta in Banff National Park, the crown jewel of the Canadian Rockies.  The Juniper's exclusive location at the base of Mount Norquay provides striking south-facing views of three iconic mountain ranges and Vermilion Lakes.

The renovated Juniper Hotel (formerly the Timberline Lodge) is the first hotel in North America to reflect Art Eco design.  It is the perfect way to describe the reclamation, recycling and re-use that characterized the hotels restoration in 2003/04.  Inspired by the way the hotel fit in so naturally into its surroundings, the team looked to the existing property to find materials to rebuild and enhance the hotel. The hotels interior celebrates a return to natural elements with Rocky Mountain Rundlestone fireplaces, reclaimed rough cut fir timber and reuse of the former hotels resources.

The Juniper Hotel & Bistro offers accommodation to those in search of a mountain oasis away from the hectic pace of life.  With fifty-two designer guest rooms, this is the best of Banff's boutique hotels featuring a full service Bistro, year round outdoor hot tub, on site walking trails, ski storage, wedding services, meeting facilities and of course, the sought after mountain views.  The Juniper is a pet friendly hotel and is Banff's first bike-friendly hotel with onsite bike tuning station and rentals.

The Juniper's meetings facility provides accommodation for up to sixty people for a productive corporate style meeting.  As a wedding venue up to one hundred guests can enjoy the ultimate setting for your Rocky Mountain wedding.

The Juniper's pet friendly accommodations and facilities provide comfort and inspiration in the heart of Banff National park. What makes The Juniper truly unique is the sheer number of stories associated with the location, early peoples history, the building, mountain culture, weddings, and of course, those who have worked and stayed during its long history. It is a place of stories.

Guest rooms and suites have one king or one queen or two double beds, a desk with chair, mini fridge, and northerly view up to Mount Norquay.  Whether you choose a kitchenette, room service, or the restaurant, your dining experience will be enhanced with a spectacular Rocky Mountain view.
