Bethel-Aspen B&B is located close to where you want to be in downtown Bonnyville, a short walk to restaurants and fast-food outlets.  Our Bed and Breakfast is great for a business trip, visiting family, a relative in the nearby hospital or just enjoying the beauty of the Lakeland region with its many lakes and Provincial Parks. Its close proximity to Jesse Lake provides easy access to walking trails, bird-watching or just relaxing.

Bethel-Aspen is an historic old house, built in 1950, has an interesting past. The conference room was previously used as a chapel for a nunnery. In fact, people who have lived in the area for many years continue to call it 'the Nunnery'. The original staircase has been retained and is weathered by the steps of the sisters over many years. The peace and calm of the religious sisters has been imbibed into the building and a sense of peace prevails in this lovely old home.
 
The Conference Room is used for meetings of up to ten people. There is no charge for the use of this meeting room if two or more of the bedrooms are occupied by Conference users. However it is also available for rent to companies or other agencies needing a quiet and pleasant place to meet.

We have six bedrooms, each of which is unique in decor and arrangement. Five of them have en-suite washrooms.  Five of them have double beds and one has a queen bed.
 
All the rooms have television, DVD players, high-speed internet and complimentary beverages. All have separate climate control and fridges Most of the rooms have microwaves.
 
Continental breakfast is served in our pleasant breakfast room that opens on to a large deck where you can relax when your work-day is done. A guest living room has HDTV and the opportunity for you to mingle with family or other guests.
 
Bethel-Aspen is a non-smoking facility.  Regrettably we are not able to accommodate pets.
 
Bonnyville is surrounded by lakes and Provincial Parks so this is a great place to holiday if you seek more than campsites.
 
Other activities in the area include wetlands with many varieties of birds; golf a few kilometres out of town; ATV or biking trails; or water sports on one of the many lakes. The Centennial Centre in town has facilities for health-conscious and fun-loving guests.
